About CCHT Prep
A study tool for dialysis technicians sitting the CCHT exam, built around the blueprint NNCC publishes rather than around guesswork.
Why this exists
Most free CCHT practice material is a list of definition questions. The real exam is not that: roughly two thirds of it asks you to apply knowledge to a situation at the chair. A bank of definitions will make you feel prepared and then fail you.
NNCC publishes exactly how the exam is assembled — four practice areas with weights, 72 tested activities, and a required mix of recall, comprehension and application questions. Everything here is organized around that document.
How the questions are written
- Every one of the 1100 questions is tagged to one of the 72 published activities and to a cognitive level.
- Mock exams are sampled to match the published domain weights and the 63–67% application mix, so a mock score means something.
- Each question carries an explanation of why the keyed answer is right and why every distractor is wrong.
- There are also 230 flashcards on a spaced-repetition schedule, and a study guide organized by the same activities.
What this is not
These are original practice questions. They are not real exam items, and nobody here has seen the exam. NNCC exam content is confidential, and reproducing it would be both unlawful and useless to you — memorising leaked items is not the same as being able to do the job.
CCHT Prep is not affiliated with or endorsed by NNCC or C-NET. Always confirm current eligibility, fees and the blueprint with NNCC directly before you apply.
Who builds it
A small independent project, built by someone preparing for this exam and opened up so other technicians can use it. If something is wrong, say so — accuracy matters more here than in most software, because people study from it.
